Box Office: "Spiderman" hangs into top

Thanks to softer competitions, The Amazing Spiderman 2 continued to dominate the box office while So It's You and The Other Woman did decent business.

The Amazing Spiderman 2 fell 63 percent to ₱ 91.22 million. That's far from the first one's 30 percent drop but, it has already passed it as the second highest grossing Spiderman movie (Spiderman 3 is still the highest grossing Spiderman). With Godzilla coming next week, it is unlikely that can reach more than  ₱ 500 million.

So It's You

In second place, So It's You opened to ₱ 18.48 million. That's in line with Regal Films' recent movies. The problem is - can it hold in the next weeks? Regal Films announced that the movie grossed  ₱ 6 million on its first day (Wednesday) which means that it didn't hold in the next 4 days. So, above or below ₱ 30 million is likely.
