"Maybe This Time" dominates Wednesday

Sarah Geronimo and Coco Martin proved that local industry can fight with Hollywood movies but it didn't reached higher milestone.

Maybe This Time opened to ₱ 20 million according to Star Cinema. That's a bit below recent Star Cinema movies: Bride for Rent (₱ 21 million) and Starting Over Again (₱ 25 million) and previous Sarah Geronimo movie (It Takes a Man and A Woman opened to a whopping ₱ 39 million).

But for a new team-up and heavy competitions, that's a very good number. The movie is higher than the first John Lloyd-Sarah movie (₱ 9 million) and Gerald-Sarah movie (₱ 15 million) which makes it the highest opening for a new team-up with Sarah Geronimo.

For the week, Maybe This Time could gross around ₱ 65-75 million although higher than that is still possible
